-The chins, fingers, and feet has a more squarish /
boxy looking shape.

-They have thicker necks, limbs, and upper body.

-Short and spikey hair is OK.

-More muscle definition and less curves.

-Watch out for THIN lips and eye lines.

About drawing FEMALES characters:

-Pretty or sexy females are the hardest things to draw.
Here are some simple rules to help you create that hot looking girl:

-females are rounder and curvier looking.

-Their chin is like a "V" or pointy shape.

-They have thin pointy fingers.

-They have thicker lips and eye lashes.

-They have less muscle definition and more curves.

-do not add wrinkles or any unecessary lines.

-Be careful with the breasts- not too big and keep them evenly balanced.

-Thin necks, bigger hips, and slim all over.

-Tight or less clothing is sexy!

And finally, here are some elements and examples to help you
create better and appealing characters:

CROSSING or SWITCHING A GENDER'S ROLE
-example: imagine a victorious black knight- the helmet comes off to reviel that it's a woman. This is very common in the film and tv industry.
Sometimes they use a motorcycle scenario instead-
where the girl takes off her helmet after she shows off on the bike.
-the female version of the Beetles
-Mrs. Santa Clause saves the day
-a date with Darth Vader's mom
-female superheros: Spiderwoman,
Supergirl, Batgirl, She-Hulk, etc.

SIZE
-a midget size Frankenstein seems interesting.
-or ever heard of a giant-sized man eating squirrel?

AGE
-a rapping grandpa
-granny driving a sports car
-any kid in a leadership type role
(example: King Arthur, or the youngest gun slinger)

OUT OF CHARACTER or ODD JOBS
-Dracula working at a blood bank or drinks only tomato juice
-a bartending nun
- drummer without hands

MISFITS and ODD COUPLES
-think of the two weirdest or most opposit people you can put together.

Here are some interesting characters that already exists and why:
-Yoda, a midget sized Jedi Master
-Casper, the friendly ghost?
-Crusty the Clown, a jewish clown who smokes and is a bad role model to kids
-Edward Scissor Hands... (you get the point.)
